Malayan's Gendang, one of the collections from the Museum Musik Indonesia. It is a musical instrument that is played by hitting or tapping with the palm of our hand. This instrument is classified as membranophone musical instrument, since the source of the sound of the instrument is a membrane made of animal skin (goat or cow leather). This instrument is originally from the area of Malays, precisely in Bangka Belitung, Indonesia.
