Prass `Audiensi` is the guitarist and vocalist of Audiensi Band, a band from the city of Malang that was popular in the 1970s. Together with his younger brother, Donny Hardono, both are known in the music scene as Donny & Prass. This musician duo from Malang has also succeeded in producing three music albums, including Di Atas Bukit Sunyi (1982) and Putihnya Sebuah Hati dan Cantik (1985).

This album is a reflection of the spiritual journey experienced by the Prass Audience in 2014. The theme of the Islamic holy day was chosen by Prass ‘Audiensi’ as a hit song, entitled “The joy of Eid”. Together with his younger brother, Donny Hardono and Prass ‘Audiensi’, the song sounded serene and had a deep meaning.

The music observer, Bens Leo, calls Prass’s work ‘Audiensi’ a new nuance in religious songs that are rife in the month of Ramadan.

“In my opinion, the songs on Mas Prass’ religious album are different musically. Especially the message in the lyrics of the song. The music arrangements are made to portray the soothing atmosphere of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr,” said Bens Leo.
