Caroline Gunawan or usually called Alena Wu is an Indonesian singer, presenter, and actress who was born in Malang City, Indonesia. The singer who is of Chinese descent often performs songs from the Indo Pop and Mandarin Pop genres.
Alena Wu once sang a soap opera soundtrack, namely Si Yoyo (2003-2007), Cinta Memang Gila (2004-2005), Putri Cantik (2004), and Dia (2004). Then, in 2021, Alena Wu did not expect that she would be lined up by Disney Indonesia to perform the hit song ‘Kepompong’. A song for the soundtrack of the film “Persahabatan Bagai Kepompong” that aired on Disney+. The popular song called Kepompong was re-arranged by Popo Fauza, the husband of Alena Wu, into a completely different version from the original.
