What makes this album special is the year of release for every track was written in the back of the case. The oldest song was Keroncong Telomoyo, written by Sakban in 1930. GNP as a record label was indeed care about the existence of keroncong songs.

There are 3 types of keroncong music that is popular, namely the keroncong itself, stambul, and langgam, that are also included on the album entitled Keroncong Pilihan Dari Masa ke Masa. There are 14 songs which the release year were within the last 50 years. 5 of them are written by Gesang, the keroncong artist who was famous by his song, Bengawan Solo.

Such a track record with many important musical history of keroncong. Perhaps, this can be a document that can support the Keroncong Goes to UNESCO program.
