Biography
Hamido’s Trio is a vocal group from North Sumatra. Tapanuli is a general term for most people on the west coast of North Sumatra province, the origin of which is ” Tapian Nauli “ which means the West Bank, bounded by the Southeast Aceh Plain.

Story
Nahum Situmorang whose 7 songs are included in this album was born in Sipirok on February 14, 1908, the son of Guru Kilian Situmorang, as the 5th child of 8 siblings.
His career as a singer began when he was in elementary school. During his life, Nahum has created approximately 120 songs and besides Nahum Situmorang, in this album there are other songwriters, namely Sdis, Charles Hutagalung and T Gultom.
VALUE
The meaning of the song lyrics in the albums/songs of North Sumatra tapanuli is an illustration of how close the Batak people are. Through the lyrics of this song, it can be seen that the bonds of brotherhood of the Batak people with each other are very strong, comforting each other in joy and sorrow.

Biography
Hamido’s Trio adalah grub vocal dari Sumatra Utara. Tapanuli adalah sebutan/panggilan umum bagi orang yang tinggal di daerah-daerah pesisir pantai barat provinsi Sumatra Utara. Tapanuli berasal dari kata “Tapian Nauli” yang berarti Tepi Sebelah Barat. Daerah ini dibatasi oleh dataran Aceh Tenggara.
